Thanks to our volunteers and sponsors, we are able to work extensively in local schools, providing FREE programs, to boost kids’ awareness of the skills that promote their Social-Emotional-Learning while they are doing health-building, fun activities!

At KidzStrong, we work to empower kids, & teens into directions for growth into a healthy, positive & strong future.
We emphasize STEM Through Sports to reach
the elementary school & teen-age students in our community. KidzStrong has been working here locally with kids since its start in 2009 .
Susan McFarland, Director of KidzStrong, has worked in that role since its start in 2009.
“Our volunteers are the real heroes,” Susan says. She gives much of the credit for the organization’s success to the many volunteers who have contributed their time & talents to make each event special.
Susan & Michael Hav two grown sons, four grandchildren and
four great grandchildren. Watching our kids go to school & grow up in the east valley since 1989, we have become very aware of the need for KidzStrong's work.
Michael McFarland is also a part of the KidzStrong Leadership Team since it began in 2009.
In addition to his active role in KidzStrong, Michael is also on the Board of Directors for Dignity Kids,
our partner non-profit.
Michael believes that all kids need to be educated, physically active & have positive goals for the future. KidzStrong & its volunteers, are a real opportunity to provide that for our community.
